When signing up, you are required to provide your neighbourhood. When searching for a sitter, you are shown sitters in your area before others.
PetBae has many sitters signed up. Do not hesitate to contact someone outside of your neighbourhood. Other sitters willing to travel to your community will be able to get the job done!
We advise that you plan a meeting with your furry family member and a sitter before proceeding with a booking. However, it is up to you whether you would like to do so.
We advise that you give the pet-sitter any information relevant to the health, happiness and routine of your animal. Including, medical conditions, feeding routine and preference, your pets likes and dislikes and so forth. Please also provide the pet-sitter with your preferred veterinary clinic and information in case of an emergency.
PetBae does not yet offer pet-sitting services for rabbits or turtles but hope to expand to other important animal family members soon!
No. As your pet comes first, not everyone can become a pet-sitter. PetBae provides a quiz and interview for those looking to sign-up to become sitters. However, we encourage those applying to improve their animal knowledge and always try to apply again!

As a part of our background screening, we require an Emirates ID or Passport. They are used to check any relevant records to determine if you are suitable to become a pet-sitter on PetBae.
